Multi-Protease Enzymes Perform Better Than Single Protease Enzymes

Soybean meal is the preeminent feed component used around the world for providing protein in poultry and other animal diets. However, a large enough portion of soy meal is generally indigestible, resulting in lost metabolizable energy for the bird and unnecessary waste for producers. The studies shown here make it clear that a multi-enzyme product containing multiple proteases can be used to reduce protein waste in the poultry ration and deliver considerable economic value. That economic value often comes in the ability of producers to manage their overall cost of production by substituting a well-researched, multi-substrate enzyme product in place of a portion of higher cost soybean meal.
